Apprenticeship

Here at State Board Professor we understand that while you receive your hands on training in the work environment you will also need to know exactly what is on the state board exam and how to prepare for it if you aren't in a traditional school environment.  We offer hands on classes to prepare you for the practical exam and we also have a class to prepare you for your theory exam. Training with an industry educator doesn't have to only be available to students that choose the traditional route of school. It should also be available to all apprentice students, and State Board Professor has you covered.

Practical Exam Prep Options:

We offer a hands on demonstration of the current exam for your license type. This class is offered in group and one on one settings. You can also take this class online if you live too far to visit our office.

The class will provide a complete demonstration of all tasks currently on your state board exam and ALL hand on classes include a state board exam kit, mannequin head, duffle bag, and tall mannequin stand that are yours to keep, for you to use at state board exam. When you complete your training with SBP you have no additional supplies or materials to purchase. YOU WILL BE STATE BOARD READY!!

Theory Exam prep Options:

Weekly training( for individuals with 6 months to one year remaining in the apprenticeship program):

A once a week class commitment completed online live from your computer. This  class option comes complete with a digital version of your text book, and exams for evaluation will be completed on every chapter covered. You will be assigned an instructor that is responsible for your advancement throughout the full course.

Two Class Training(for individuals who will be taking state board within a short window of time.)

A two class series that will encompass specifically what a student can expect on the theory state board exam. This class is completed live online in a private one on one session with an instructor dedicated to focusing you on skills and vocab needed to pass the written exam for your license type. At about 8 full hours of training a student completes this course in two four hour training sessions.
